Navy’s Unicorn Birthday Party

Something About Navy Unicorn Birthday Party

My little mini turned FOUR last month. Where did all that time go?! And how is she four already? Mind = blown. They weren’t kidding when they say it goes by too fast. It kind of makes me want another little mini. Did I really just type that? #babyfever

We headed down to Florida to have her “Magical Unicorn Birthday Party.” She came up with the title all by herself. We kept the party small, nothing crazy; just a few decorations, some things for the kids to do (pin the horn on the unicorn, a piñata, bubbles and a big back yard to run in), and finger food for everyone to munch on. Navy really wanted to just have some play time with two of her favorite fellow little people. I’d say the party was a success. The kids had a blast and the grown ups got to catch up with each other. Besides seeing most of my friends and family all at once, I was so excited about Navy’s unicorn cake. Grandma came through and found a baker that could make a cake Navy me swipe past on Pinterest. It came out AMAZING and I think I want one for my next birthday, lol. If you are in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida area, Creative Celebrations Custom Cakes, Inc. does amazing work. She has done my sister’s and my cousin’s wedding cakes as well and they really are a piece of art!

Below are a few pictures from her party — I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Not pictured but HAS to be mentioned: this adorable Pin the Horn on the Unicorn poster download I found on Etsy. It is SO cute in person and so easy to do. All you have to do is purchase the download, save the file to your computer, and you can either print it out at home or have it printed in a larger size by using Staples, Office Depot, or some other online printing service. I used Staples because there is one right down the road from us. I uploaded the file through their website, selected the size and quality options I wanted and was able to pick it up in store within just a few hours. Totally recommend this service!

SHOP THE POST

I love to shop small when I can. Here are the Etsy shops that I found and made purchases for items for Navy’s party. I had a great experience with each shop!

Thank you, Shannon! The cake was just as yummy as it was gorgeous! It was 6 layers, each a different color — Grandma and the baker nailed it! 🙂
