Oh, hey Friday! Let’s go ahead & jump into this week’s Five on Friday:
1). October is one of my most favorite months. The weather finally starts to feel like fall in Florida and we can start to enjoy being outside again (goodbye hot, muggy & sticky evenings), there’s tons of festivities to go to on the weekends and it’s our anniversary month! Just saying the word October makes me happy. Looking forward to the Destin Seafood Festival this weekend, cool nights on our back porch, and eating my weight in candy corn!
2). Thank goodness all my television shows are back! I’ve missed them so! The hubby and I have such busy schedules that all we like to do after Navy goes down at night is snuggle up on the couch and watch our favorite shows. We’re total party animals, I know. My DVR is already packed with shows we need to catch up on. I’m interested to see what Grey’s has in store this season! Shonda broke my heart last season (#bringbackmcdreamy) – she better make up for it this time around. Also – did anyone catch The Royals last season?! I ended up thoroughly enjoying it and can’t wait for Season 2 to start on November 15. AND can’t forget American Horror Story! Five more days y’all!
3). Going total basic white girl this month and want to bake everything pumpkin spice. I found this AMAZING chocolate chip pumpkin loaf recipe that I’ve been dying to try and share with y’all. Be on the lookout!
4). I am doing a self-challenge this month! I’m not going to purchase any new clothing, accessories, home goodies, etc. I get wayyy too excited when seasons change and end up buying a whole bunch of unnecessary crap. I may just have to just out of Target altogether.
5). Calling all camera nerds and/or experienced bloggers: I’m on the market for a new DSLR (no, this does not apply to my self-challenge listed above. This is a necessary item, right?!). What reasonably priced camera do you recommend? Looking for something that I can get quality photos for my blog with. And go…
I am so excited for fall tv and SO EXCITED for the Royals! Who killed the king? is he really dead? Can we kill the bad guy?
