After my recent Instagram post getting such great feedback, I figured today’s Five on Friday could be a list of five of my favorite Mommy + Me twinning outfits from Navy and I. We LOVE to match or ‘go-together’. I’m thinking of starting a series of matching outfits on the blog — I’ll list out what we are wearing and link what it can or something similar. What do y’all think?!
I’m pretty sure I’ve found the perfect summer date night maxi thanks to TOBI. It’s sexy, with a strappy back (adjustable too!) and low-cut plunging front, but still covers just enough. And, if your more of a ‘busty’ gal, no worries, this dress covers you! I usually have a lot of trouble with dresses cut like this (smalls are cut too small up top, and anything larger is just too big in the waist and way too long), so typically stay away from them. You can dress it up with a strappy heel or down with a sandal. I paired mine with a sandal due to the length on me (I’d rather have my maxis a tad too long than too short with a heel), an over-sized floppy hat, and gold accessories.
This dress will definitely be in my suitcase for our upcoming trip back home. I can’t wait to be at the beach and have a much needed date night with the hubby!
Another spring and summer favorite – two piece playsuits! I wore this beauty, courtesy of TOBI, out to run errands and take Navy to the park. It’s a flowy halter top and high-waisted short set. So comfy and easy to wear! I love the pattern too. I’m all about some floral right now.
I kept the jewelry minimal and since I’m still digging turquoise jewelry, I thought the necklace was perfect to give this black and white outfit a pop of color.
I love a good romper! They’re just so easy to wear – throw on and go! I wore this one, courtesy of TOBI, out to a local festival in Knoxville. It’s my current favorite and will definitely be on repeat for spring and summer. It comes in the color I’m wearing below (mint), black, and toast. The back is open, perfect for those hot summer days, and the fabric is light. Plus, I love the detailing across the middle. Dress it up with a heel/wedge or down with a strappy sandal.
This time of year I’m a sucker for any Hallmark or Lifetime holiday movie. I’m also a sucker for cute, quirky, and comfy pajamas to be lazy in and watch those corny yet festive movies all day (when I actually have the time — so far this year it’s been a whopping 30 minutes). So, aside from any Victoria’s Secret pajama set, because if I included any of those on this list it would be extra long, here are some super cute pajamas and lounge wear for snuggly, lazy, weekends!
One of my favorite sites is having an amazing sale on their booties this weekend — up to 40% off y’all + free economy shipping for orders over $50!
I swear by this website for fun, trendy, and AFFORDABLE shoes — and they’re always having some sort of awesome sale. Plus, I’ve never had a bad experience with them. I can’t say enough good things about this company. And before you say it — no, this is not a sponsored post. I really just love them that much!
Here are my top picks (I narrowed it down as best I could) for booties this fall from GoJane:
I’ve told y’all I have a pineapple thing.
I even found a recipe for pineapple margaritas and this amazing link, “15 Pineapple Crafts You’ll Have to Make” from diycandy.com. I say I make one (or two) of those pineapple margaritas and have at it with some of those DIY’s. Who’s with me?!
